Immanent Transcendence

Tomorrow, we'll read about the "Mishhan", the temporary and "portable" Sanctuary the Israelites built during their journey in the Desert. Some commentators interpret the Commandment "And they shall make me a Temple- so that I may dwell among them." as an universal imperative, not related to history or geography.

So, how is each of us supposed to build a "Sanctuary" and where?

Maybe this teaches us that we have to open ourselves to "transcendence within immanence", which means also to be receptive to the beauty of nature, to the tears smiles, handshakes of every human being, since all human beings were created in G-d's image.
