מחר נקרא בספר "ויקרא", המכונה גם "תורת כהנים". ספר זה עוסק ברובו בנושאים שאינם מהווים חלק מחיי היום יום שלנו.
בימינו, איננו מתקרבים אל הא-ל, אל ה"אחר" האולטימטיבי, באמצעות קורבנות.
האם משמעות הדבר שהאלטרנטיבות העומדות לרשותנו – תפילה, לימוד, דאגה לחלשים בחברה, תיקון עולם – מתאימות יותר לדורנו.
האם עלינו לחיות באופן תמידי עם תחושת האבדן, עם הגעגוע ועם התקווה להחזרת "עטרה ליושנה"? או שמא, טרם עלה בידינו לתרגם את המהות לקטגוריות רלוונטיות ומהותיות.

This Shabbat, we'll start reading a new Book . Vayikra deals apparently with issues that aren't part of our everyday life:
Sacrifices aren't anymore the way we try to establish or to reestablish a relationship with G-d, the Absolute Other.
Does that mean that we have better alternatives, like prayer, study, philosophical contemplation, compassion for deprived members of society and "tikun olam", more appropriate for our generation?
Do we have to live constantly with the sensation of loss and hope for revival and restauration of "more authentic patterns"?
Or, maybe we haven't found the way yet to translate the essence into more understandable categories?
