Is the Nazir (a person who makes a vow of abstinence) a Saint or a sinner?
Our sages discuss this issue and argue about it; maybe sometimes ignoring or repressing very human tendencies (or weaknesses) in order to be a "saint" engender a continuous experience of being a sinner and feeling guilty. Maybe in order to be human, we have to accept and live with our imperfections.
