לבני
משפחתנו, חברותינו וחברינו היקרים,
על
הפסוק "אל אמונה ואין עול, צדיק וישר הוא" בשירת האזינו, שנקרא מחר, כתב
בעל מדרש תנאים ספרי:
אל
אמונה. שהאמין
בעולם ובראו: ואין עול. שלא באו בני אדם להיות רשעים אלא להיות צדיקים. וכן
הוא אומר (קהלת ז): 'אשר עשה האלהים את האדם ישר והמה בקשו חשבונות רבים'.
ואולי
גם היציאה מהבית הבטוח והקבוע לסוכה, שהיא "דירת ארעי", החשופה לרוחות,
שמש וגשם והמזכירה את 40 שנות נדודינו במדבר , דורשת מאיתנו אמונה במצב של
אי וודאות. האל בשירת האזינו מלמד אותנו שיש לתת אמון בעולם, על אף כל מה שקורה
בו. אמנם, החברה האנושית נועדה להיות צודקת, והיא לא תמיד כזאת, ולפעמים היא ממש
לא כזאת, אבל אסור להתייאש ומשימתנו היא לתרום את חלקנו לחברה "ללא
עול".

Family and Friends,
In
the Torah Section of Haazinu, we read: a G-d of faithfulness and without iniquity
The
Midrash interprets this verse as follows: a G-d of faithfulness- He Believed in the World and created
it.
without iniquity- Men (and Women)
were created in order to be honest and righteous and not wicked.
Maybe
we are leaving our comfortable and secure houses and spend 7 days in a Sukkah,
a fragile temporary outdoors construction in order to experience faith
and trust in a world of uncertainty. In the verse we quoted, G-d teaches us
that we should trust the world, despite of all what happens. Human Beings are
supposed to be honest, but very often the human society isn't like that, but we
should never lose hope and do whatever we can to make our society a
better place to live in.
