This Shabbat, when starting the Book of Shemoth we'll read about the courageous disobedience of Pharao's daughter and also, according to some commentators, about the refusal of the Egyptian midwives to kill the male newborns.
Maybe this teaches us that individuals cannot hide behind immoral decisions of the authorities and are responsible for what they do.
