אולי סיפורו של בלעם שנקרא מחר מלמד אותנו שקללות וברכות הם מושגים יחסיים; משתנים רבים עשויים להשפיע על העתיד ואנשים שונים חווים אירועים שונים בצורה שונה וגם משפיעים על אירועים אלו בצורה חיובית או שלילית. ואולי לכל אדם קיימת הבחירה - שהיא לא תמיד קלה - לחוות את החיים כקללה או כברכה, כהזדמנות וכאתגר מצמיח.

Maybe the story of Bil’am wants to teach us that curses and blessings are very relative notions; there are different variables that can affect the outcome, and different people may perceive, experience, or influence events in a negative or a favorable way, or maybe every individual has the choice (which is not always easy) to perceive life as a malediction, or as a blessing, as an opportunity and challenge.
