מחר, צפויים לנו חידושים: חודש האביב מתחדש עלינו לטובה. לכבודו, גם נקרא, בנוסף לקריאה הרגילה לראש חודש, את "פרשת החודש" בה אנו מצווים, עם שחרורנו מעבדות להפסיק להיות עבדי הזמן, אלא להיות בני חורין; במסגרת השחרור, אנו גם מצווים להקריב את "אלוהי מצרים", שהוא "קרבן הפסח". וכמובן, נקרא על הקריאה והדיבור הטרנצנדנטי בספר חדש, ספר "ויקרא", בו יש תיאור מפורט של "עבודת הקרבנות". האם אולי, מכיוון שהדיבור, "העבודה שבלב", הוא תחליף לעבודת הקרבנות, עלינו להתחדש ולשמוע את הקריאה המופנית אלינו ולדעת להתבונן בה?

Dear Family and Friends,

Tomorrow, we'll experience various aspects of renewal: we'll welcome the Month of Nissan, month of spring and hope. In its honour, we'll read, in addition to the regular section we read on Rosh Hodesh, the section called "Parashat HaHodesh", that can be considered as the second "beginning" of the Torah. This section teaches us about freedom, liberation from Time and from Egyptian idols. We also start reading the book of Vayikra, where Moshe hears the Transcendental Voice calling him and in which we'll find a detailed description of Sacrifices. Maybe, since the Language, the Worship of the Heart replaces the Sacrifices, we should see it as an opportunity of renewal enabling us to listen to ethical challenges?
