חשובים וחוויות של התגלות מרחשים ליד באר.
א.
להגר היתה התגלות כאשר גורשה בפעם הראשונה, ליד "באר לחי רואי" , כי
"אתה אל רָאי"
ב.
הא-ל מתערב ומראה להגר באר המצילנ את ישמעאל במדבר
ג.
יצחק פגש את רבקה, לפי המדרש, כאשר חזר מ"באר לחי רואי", המקום ממנו הוא
החזיר את הגר לאברהם, אחרי מות שרה
ד.
יצחק והפלשתים רבו על בארות
ה.
מחר נקרא על המפגש בין יעקב ורחל ליד הבאר ועל פתיחת הבאר ע"י יעקב
ו.
בעוד מספר שבועות נקרא על המפגש בין משה לציפורה על יד הבאר
ואולי
בא הדבר ללמדנו שהבאר שיכולה להיות מקור לסכסוך יכולה גם להיות מקור לחסד כלפי
הנרדף. במקרה זה, הבאר היא מקום לפיוס ולהתגלות.

Friends,
Many important
encounters and spiritual experiences occur around a well (Be'er):
1.
Hagar's had a Divine Revelation at Be'er Lakhai Roei, the Well where the
Eternal God saw my distress.
2.
After Gods intervention, again, Hagar sees a Well as the option of saving her
son's life in the desert.
3.
Yitzhak met Rivka, according the Midrash, when he came from Be'er Lakhai Roei
and after he brought Hagar back to his father Avraham, after Sarah's death and
after indulging in prayer.
4.
There were some conflicts between Yitzhak and the Philistines about wells.
5.
This Shabbat we'll read about Yaacov who meets Rachel next to the Well and
opens the well for her.
6.
In a few weeks, Moshe will meet Zippora, his wife at the well, and helped
her.
Maybe the Well,
besides being a possible source of conflict, can also be a source of Mercy
towards the oppressed; in this case, it reflects an act of appeasement and
Revelation.
