לבני משפחתנו, חברותינו וחברינו היקרים,
הפרשה אותה נקרא השבת מתחילה עם החלומות שמספר יוסף לאביו ולאחיו ומסתיימת בחלומותיהם של שר המשקים ושר האופים שיוסף פותר.
סיפור החלומות, ושיתוף המשאלות והשאיפות יכולים להניע אירועים רבים והחלטות שונות ולכן יכולים להשפיע על חייו של האדם.
לכן, אולי, בחירת הסיפור שאנחנו מספרים על חנוכה - פתיחת אפשרויות חדשות, ניצחון צבאי, הגברת האור והתקווה - משפיעה על חיינו האשיים והקבוצתיים.
לכן, אולי הכל תלוי בסיפור שאנחנו בוחרים לספר לעצמנו וגם למי אנחנו מספרים אותו.

Dear Family and Friends,
The section we'll read tomorrow starts with Joseph telling his dreams to his father and brothers and ends with the butler and the baker of Pharaoh telling their dreams to Joseph. Sharing your dreams, wishes and aspirations can lead to many events or decisions and can have a major impact on somebody's life.
Maybe emphasizing one or other narrative of Chanukah - the opening of unexpected options, the military victory, the gradual increase of light and hope - has an influence on our lives as individuals and as a society.
So, all depends on which story you decide to tell yourself and whom with you'll share your story.
